This is why feminism is so important and necessary. Feminism isn't just for women, but it gives voice to a gender stripped of one. It gives space to women where we must make ourselves small no more. It gives permission for existing, as we are, where once we were forced into sameness and stereotype.
But to the oppressor, equality--and boundary, look like oppression.
To that I say, "Get over yourself."

The fact that regardless of whether the team wins or loses, domestic violence increases (it just increases more if they lose) haunts me regularly. Agree with everything you’ve said 100%
Hey! I read your post on Laurens "The Well" Substack. I can honestly feeling the emotion radiating off your page. I fully can appreciate your point. Its something I have seen in my time so there's no denying that.
I recently read a substack on here titled "what men don't understand about women" and its accompanying post "what women don't understand about med" (ill link both at the bottom). This post was eye opening to the discrepancy not only how men and woman think differently but also experience life differently. We as sexes, are different and I think as a society we haven't learned to accept that.
As we began to enmesh the sexes in society, through women rising in the workplace and in independence, there should have been an educational revamp between the sexes.
We just don't understand how the other sex works.
I know men who joke with women like they joke with their male friends and it never works well for them. However, in their mind, they are treating them like equals! Its confusing to them to say the least. Its happened when women try to communicate with men and don't understand how or why they are not picking up the nuances.
Its a problem of same language but different worlds. I think if were going to solve this we need to educate each other on how were different and accept that as a fact. This way we don't have the confusion that leads to frustration.
To the ones who are unkind and violate boundaries though they need extra help. Cant excuse that.

it's actually very bad in India and the fact that sometimes girls do throw their insecurities to other girl is crazy
